1) from the product sheet, select the size of the item
2) add product in the cart
3) once the shopping session is over, click on the bag icon at the top right
4) enter your personal details, date and place of birth for non-EU customers, shipping and payment details
5) select a type of shipment and one of the payment options
6) check that the entered information is correct and click on “BUY”.

Within a few minutes you will receive an email confirmation with all the order details.

From now on, our warehouse will take care of everything and, as soon as the order is shipped, you will receive an email notification with a link where you can track the shipment.

HOW TO MEASURE YOURSELF

  1. Shoulders: Measure shoulder width by sliding the centimeter across the two ends to the widest point

CARE OF YOUR CLOTHES

Here are some tips to always have your clothes perfect:

  • in case of colour contrasts, it is advisable to wash the garment separately, respecting the temperature indicated on the label;
  • natural fabrics such as wool, linen or silk will shrink if washed at too high temperatures and deform when centrifuged or stretched vertically;
  • we advise you to wash artificial and synthetic fabrics with lukewarm water and to iron them on the reverse side at low temperature. If possible with liquid detergent and not powder or solid;
  • jeans must always be washed inside out and at temperatures not exceeding 40°C;
  • for leather garments, wash only at specialized laundries;
  • in case of decorations/prints, it is advisable to iron the garment inside out;
  • remove detachable parts before washing and/or ironing;
  • when drying clothes outside, avoid exposure to direct sunlight;
  • when ironing, start with the lowest temperature. Iron the slightly damp garments and turn them inside out in case of dark colours.

SHIPMENT AND RETURNS

The shipment of the products is normally carried out through the e-motion service, we will choose the best courier for the destination area, it could vary based on the type of item purchased.

A parcel tracking service is active for all available couriers.

Couriers make deliveries from Monday to Friday, from 10 am to 7 pm. The recipient cannot request delivery on specific days or times. In case of absence of the recipient, the courier will leave a notice of passage, through a label affixed to the domicile. Delivery will be attempted twice: in case of failure, the courier will return the package to our office.

To facilitate the resolution of the delivery procedure during the order it is therefore essential to:

  1. indicate a correct telephone number (landline or mobile number);
  2. indicate a delivery address where someone is always present to pick up the goods;
  3. always specify the surname on the intercom.

Alleydocks.com will not be responsible for any malfunctions in the courier’s delivery service.

The courier notifies the customer by e-mail about the status of the shipment. The service is activated automatically if the e-mail address field is filled in correctly.

We invite you not to enter a PO BOX in the address field, as the courier would be unable to deliver the purchased goods. Thus, a physical delivery address must be entered.

In the case of deliveries made at reception/concierge (with the receptionist’s signature for collection), alleydocks.com will not be held responsible for subsequent non-delivery of the package to the final recipient.

If a destination country does not appear among those listed, it means that the delivery of the products to that country is not currently foreseen.

Orders cannot be sent to military bases or mailboxes.

SHIPMENT AND DELIVERY

Cotton Company S.r.l. ships all over the world and in Italy via e-motion. In accordance with international Import/Export laws, the shipped goods are accompanied by a proforma invoice in which the total value of the purchased goods is declared in Euros. The invoice shows the value of each single item purchased.

Cotton Company S.r.l. cannot be held responsible for delays in shipments caused by weather conditions, international customs issues or other circumstances beyond its control.

Orders are processed for shipment from Monday to Friday 11:00-17:30 (CET). Orders placed from Friday to Sunday will be processed the following Monday.

Orders relating to available goods, subject to confirmation of the availability of the goods and verification of the bank transaction, are shipped the same day if received by 2.00 pm otherwise they will be shipped the day following receipt of the order. The amount of transactions made by credit card is charged immediately when the order is processed and following a verification of the transaction by the bank. In all cases, Cotton Company S.r.l. reserves the right to postpone the shipment if the order cannot be shipped for reasons beyond its control. Please note that shipments may be delayed during promotions and sales.

Deliveries take place during office hours from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays. The courier will make 2 delivery attempts; in case of failure, the order will return to our warehouse.

All orders are processed automatically by the system, therefore we are unable to change shipping and delivery times.

MISSED DELIVERY

If for any reason, an order is not delivered due to lack of cooperation on the part of the customer (wrong telephone number, wrong address, absent address, non-compliance with import regulations), as per commercial agreements, the package could be sent back to Italy at customer charges, including import taxes. These charges will be deducted from any refund.

In Italy, delivery takes place within 24-48 hours, after 24 hours from the date of registration of the order. For customized products, delivery may take an extra day or two. Any delivery delays may be caused by the temporary unavailability of the products, malfunctions in the service by the courier, force majeure or public holidays. In the event of non-delivery (excluding Saturdays and Sundays), please contact customer service at customercare@alleydocks.com.

Delivery times for orders placed from Monday to Friday before 1.00 pm (CET) will be 2 working days for Express deliveries and 24 hours for Urgent delivery. In the case of orders placed after 1:00 pm (CET), on weekends or public holidays, delivery will take an extra day.

POSSIBLE DELAYS

Payments require automatic verification by the bank that issued the credit card, this verification could cause a delay in the shipment of orders.

Once authorized, the payment will be credited to the alleydocks.com current account and the order will be processed as soon as possible.

Orders will be processed in chronological order, based on the times of receipt. Orders with “express shipping” have priority in fulfillment over orders with “standard shipping”. On weekdays (Monday to Friday) orders are processed within 24 working hours from receipt of order.

In specific periods of the year, on public holidays (during which the couriers do not deliver) and in times of high order traffic, which we have listed below, the order processing times can be delayed up to 3 /4 days:

  • January 1st and 6th;
  • Easter and Easter Monday;
  • April 25th;
  • May 1st;
  • June 2nd;
  • August 15th;
  • November 1st;
  • December;
  • Black Friday, flash offers, sales etc…

HOME DELIVERY

Check the order status at any time by accessing My Orders section in My Account. If you haven’t registered on alleydocks.com, you can go directly to the Orders section. In this case you will need to enter your email address and order code.

Furthermore, when your order has left our warehouses, we will send you a shipment confirmation by email.

CUSTOMS DUTIES AND TAXES

In case of shipment addressed to a country not belonging to the European Union, the goods could be subject to imposition of customs duties and possible sales taxes. Any additional charges relating to customs clearance will be exclusively borne by the recipient.

In case of refusal of the goods by the customer or non-delivery for other reasons (e.g. wrong address and/or telephone number of the recipient; repeated absence of the recipient, etc.) the amount will be retained to cover the following expenses: “sending of goods” + “return of goods” + “customs for return” and charged to the recipient. The price of the goods will instead be refunded.

Customs duties and possible taxes vary according to the country of destination and are applied upon arrival of the goods in the same country. For information relating to the amount of duties and possible taxes, and the methods of customs clearance of the goods, it is advisable to contact the competent Customs Offices of the country of destination.

RIGHT OF WITHDRAW

POLICY FOR RETURNS/EXCHANGES 

You have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days. The withdrawal period expires after 14 days from the day on which you or a third party, other than the carrier and designated by you, acquires physical possession of the purchased item. Should you have purchased several items with a single order, the withdrawal period expires after 14 days from the day on which you or a third party, other than the carrier and designated by you, acquires physical possession of the last item.

 

To exercise the right of withdrawal, you are required to inform us by email at returns@alleydocks.com of your decision to withdraw from the purchase contract by means of an explicit declaration. For this purpose, you can use the withdrawal form, but it is not mandatory.

 

To meet the withdrawal deadline, just send your communication concerning your exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired. Upon receipt of the withdrawal request, we will send you a receipt confirmation by email.

 

Effects of withdrawal/return

If you withdraw from the Contract, you will be refunded all payments you have made to us, including delivery costs (except for additional costs arising from your possible choice of a type of delivery other than the least expensive type of standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which we were informed of your decision to withdraw from the Contract. These refunds will be made using the same means of payment you used for the initial transaction.

 

In any event, you will not incur any costs as a result of such repayment.

Notwithstanding the foregoing, the refund may be suspended until receipt of the goods or until you can prove that you have returned the goods, whichever is earlier.

 

If you have exercised your right of withdrawal with respect to the purchase of an item, subject to our offer to collect that item, you are kindly requested to send the item back to us or deliver it to us without undue delay and in any event within 14 days from the day on which you have communicated your withdrawal from the purchase contract. The deadline will be considered met only if the articles are shipped before the expiry of the period of 14 days.

The items must be returned to the following address: “Cotton Company srl , Via Como, 6, 25125 Brescia (BS), Italy”. You will be responsible for the costs of returning the items, unless you have chosen to use our free collection service. Follow the return instructions below.
In case of exercising the right of withdrawal from the purchase of items, the refund may be suspended until receipt of the items or until you can prove that you have sent the items back, whichever is earlier.

 

You will only be liable for any diminished value of the items resulting from handling of the items other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.

 

You are required to return the items in an intact state of conservation and with the original warranty seals and labels not removed. The packaging of the items must be accurate, in order to safeguard the original wrappings from damage, affixing of writings or labels.

 

The right of withdrawal is excluded, in particular, in the following cases provided for by the Consumer Code:

  1. a) the supply of tailor-made or clearly personalized goods;
  2. b) the supply of sealed goods which are not intended to being returned due to hygienic or health protection reasons and which have been unsealed after delivery. Thus, for example, for reasons of hygiene, briefs, tanga and culottes are equipped with a protection system which prevents them from being tried on or used. If you wish to return this type of item, you must keep the label and the protective device (if any).

 

RETURN INSTRUCTIONS

You have 14 days from receipt of the order to exchange the items for others of a different size or request a refund. To make the return you will need to:

 

  • send an email to returns@alleydocks.com specifying if you wish to make an exchange or a return alleydocks.com reserves the right to request, if it deems it necessary, a photograph of the product to verify its status in order to accept or reject the return;
  • alleydocks.com will send an email indicating the return number and the label to be attached to the package containing the product using the guarantee seal
  • prepare the parcel including the delivery note: pack the items securely, the guarantee seal must be intact and must not have been tampered with. Use the original packaging and attach the return label that was sent to you by email.
  • Go to the DHL center closest to you: In the event of a return, the refund will be made using the same payment method as the purchase within 14 working days from the date the package is received at our warehouses.

Conditions in case of withdrawal

When exercising the right of withdrawal, you must know that:

 

  • returned items must not have been damaged;
  • the original security seal and tags must be intact, otherwise the return will not be accepted;
  • the right of withdrawal does not apply: in the case of (a) supply of made-to-measure or clearly personalized goods (including personalized Items referred to in article 4.12 above); (b) supply of sealed goods which do not lend themselves to being returned for hygienic or health protection reasons and which have been opened after delivery. therefore, for example, for hygiene reasons, briefs, tanga and culottes are equipped with a protection system that prevents them from being tried on or used. If you wish to return this type of item, you must keep the label and the protective device;
  • as soon as we receive your package, we will check the condition of the items and replace the size or color or refund the returned items. If you voluntarily choose to return the item to us using a different means of delivery, you will bear the costs of the return. If returning by post, alleydocks.com does not accept shipments costs to be paid by the recipient or cash on delivery.

LEGAL GUARANTEE

The items sold on the site to users who act as consumers (i.e. for purposes not related to any entrepreneurial, commercial, handicraft or professional activity)  are covered by the legal warranty of conformity pursuant to art. 128-135 of the Consumer Code.

There is a lack of conformity in the event that:

  1. a) the item is not suitable for the use for which goods of the same type are usually used;
  2. b) the item does not conform to the description we made on the Site and does not have the qualities of the goods we have presented;
  3. c) the item does not have the usual quality and performance of a good of the same type, which you can reasonably expect, considering the nature of the item and, where appropriate, the public statements about the specific characteristics of the item made by us on the Site, or to the manufacturer or his agent or representative, especially in advertising or on labelling;
  4. d) the article is not suitable for the particular use you wished, which you brought to our attention when concluding the contract and which we have accepted even for conclusive facts.

You can ask us, at your choice, to have an item repaired or replaced, free of charge in both cases, unless the requested remedy is objectively impossible or excessively expensive compared to the other. You can ask, at your choice, for an appropriate price reduction or termination of the contract where one of the following situations occurs: (i) repair and replacement are impossible or excessively expensive; (ii) we have not repaired or replaced the item within a reasonable time; (iii) the replacement or repair previously carried out caused you significant inconvenience.

If you have found a lack of conformity of an item purchased on the Site, contact us immediately by email at: customercare@alleydocks.com or by post at “Cotton Company S.r.l., Via Como, 6 – 25125 Brescia (BS), Italia”.

We will reply as soon as possible, providing information on the specific procedure to be followed and the remedies available, taking into account the nature of the item and the type of lack of conformity reported.

REFUND

Refund times range from 3 to 12 working days from the moment we receive the returned goods at our warehouse. Upon acceptance, we will request a refund immediately and send you a confirmation by email. The refund will be made with the same payment method used at the time of purchase.

Refund times vary according to the chosen payment method:

Credit Card: our bank will refund you within 7 working days from the e-mail confirmation of return acceptance. The time required for the refund to be visible  in your account depends on the card issuer.

PayPal: the refund will be visible in the PayPal account within 24 hours from the e-mail confirmation of return acceptance.

Cash on delivery: the refund will be made by bank transfer to a bank or post office account to be indicated during the return procedure. 5 euros equal to the cost of the “cash on delivery” service will be deducted from the refunded amount, the sum will be visible on the account statement within 10 working days from the e-mail confirmation of return acceptance.

If you decide to return an item via a shipping method of your choice, without using our free item collection service, the shipping costs for returning the item will be at your charge.

PAYMENT

The amount will be debited from your card upon completion of the order.

All transactions are processed through a secure server, guaranteeing alleydocks.com customers maximum data protection.

Alleydocks.com Customer Service operators are in no way authorized to request or accept credit card numbers and/or validity details of the card itself.

In order to ensure greater protection on purchases made in the e-commerce sector, Alleydocks.com recommends its customers to join the Verified By Visa or Mastercard Securecode services, requesting a PIN security code to be able to purchase in complete safety.

Credit Card charges

If the funds are sufficient for the purchase and the provided bank details are valid, the transaction will be processed instantly.

The credit card used will be charged at the time of purchase even in the case of a pre-order, although the shipment of these items takes place later in the season.

PayPal: to buy online comfortably, without having to enter your credit card details on the site.

The charge of the account will take place upon completion of the order. To register a new PayPal account, visit the site paypal.com.

Apple pay and Google Pay, we advise you to consult the operators’ website for more details.

KLARNA, Split payment service: In order to offer Klarna’s payment methods, we may transfer your personal data to Klarna in the form of contact details and order details at the checkout, so that Klarna can assess the suitability of your payment and customize the payment methods. Transfer of personal data will be treated in accordance with the Klarna privacy policy.

Cash on delivery: method available for amounts below € 1.000.

At the time of delivery it is required to have available in cash the exact amount of the order indicated in the shipment confirmation e-mail; the courier cannot give change and does not accept cheques. For any refund, a bank or postal current account must be indicated.

This payment method has an additional cost of € 5,00.

We would like to remind our new customers that alleydocks.com may request the Bank or Paypal to check the transaction, including by contacting the counterparty bank. This check could cause some delay in the shipment of the order.

Alleydocks.com reserves the right to ask new customers to send the goods to the invoicing address of the same.

SECURITY

For alleydocks.com, online shopping security is paramount. All transactions are transmitted directly in encrypted form (SSL) to the financial institution.

We have Lets Encrypt SSL certificates and security certificates for online transactions: Verified by VISA, MasterCard SecureCode and American Express Safekey.

To protect your credit card purchases, you will be asked to enter the CVV code with each order. Our payments department will carry out anti-fraud checks before approving the transaction and, for your greater protection, may contact you for further details before confirming the order.

    If you have selected home delivery, you will be able to check the status of your order at any time in My Orders section in My account. In this case you are requested to enter your email address and order code. Also, when your order leaves our warehouses, we will send you an email. If you have selected in-store collection, you will receive an e-mail confirmation when the order is available in the store. You will have a maximum of 15 days to pick up the order. Contact the staff in the shop directly and pick up your order by showing an identity document and the order confirmation.

    Check that you have correctly entered the data relating to the selected payment method. If you have chosen to pay by credit card and the problem persists, we advise you to contact the card issuer. Do you need more help? Contact our customer service  and we will be glad to assist you.

    Check your spam folder and make sure orderstatus@alleydocks.com is safelisted in your email account. This will prevent the spam filter from blocking future communications. If that’s not enough, don’t hesitate to contact us.

    If you have not received your order yet and the expected delivery date has passed, check your e-mail inbox and make sure you have received our shipment confirmation e-mail. If you have selected home delivery, you can check the status of your order at any time in My Orders section in My account. If you have not signed up, access the Orders section (link to page) and enter your e-mail address and order code. Remember that during sales and promotional periods, delivery times may be longer.

    Once the order has been completed, a payment authorization will be requested automatically, necessary to verify the validity of the card and the availability of funds. This is not yet the charge: the actual payment will take place only at the time of order confirmation.

    It may happen that the charged amount is less than the total order amount. This happens when, at the time of shipment, not all the items ordered are actually available; the amount charged will correspond exclusively to the price of the items actually shipped.

    Alleydocks.com guarantees that the amount of an order will be charged to your credit card only once. It is possible that the amount is indicated twice on the account statement: the first item corresponds to the request for payment authorization which is forwarded at the time of the order; the second confirms the actual charge.

    Unfortunately no, it is not possible to choose a specific time and day. In Italy, however, you can try to contact the courier directly to agree on a possible delivery date/time slot.

    As soon as your order has left our warehouse, you will receive an e-mail  confirmation with a shipment tracking link. By clicking on the link you will be able to track the location of your parcel.

    You can currently shop online in all countries of the European Union, the United Kingdom, Asia and Oceania, as well as the United States and Canada, Brazil, Mexico and Argentina.

    The parcel must be sent to the following address: Cotton Company S.r.l. , Via Como, 6, 25125 Brescia (BS), Italy. You are free to use a courier other than ours but in this case the shipping costs will be at your charge. Furthermore, alleydocks.com will not be responsible for any theft or loss during transport.

    If the order has been paid for by PayPal or credit card, the refund will be made to the account from which the payment was sent. For security reasons we are not allowed to refund to a different account.
